Start of construction for mixed-use residential project

As part of a joint venture, a mixed-use residential project will be built at Pohlgasse 26 by mid 2021 – 121 privately financed rental flats and around 1,900 square metres of retail space will be created.
The property is located in the 12th district of Vienna and combines residential and retail space on a total of around 6,500 square metres as a mixed-use project. After completion of the project in mid 2021, “Pohlgasse 26” will provide around 4,600 square metres of efficient residential space in the southwest of Vienna. The total of 121 privately financed rental flats will be mostly 1-3 room flats with a size between 30 and 70 square metres. All of the apartments will have a loggia, balcony or roof terrace. The heart of the building will be a large green inner courtyard with a children’s playground and directly adjacent garden flats with a room height of over 4 metres.

On the ground floor of the building 1,900 square metres of commercial space will be created. Here the developers have succeeded in retaining the grocery retailer Merkur as the anchor tenant. The project is being realised by the construction company Dywidag – Dyckerhoff & Widmann GesmbH. Alexander Katzkow & Partner ZT GmbH is responsible for the execution planning.
