Ground-breaking ceremony in Amsterdam and kick-off for international expansion: INVESTER United Benefits GmbH and IES Immobilien-Projektentwicklung GmbH in the Dutch capital on the 26 June 2017 for the ground-breaking ceremony of the mega project “Y-Towers”.

The Austrian project developers are creating a new landmark for the Amsterdam skyline with a total area of more than 106,000 square metres by 2020. The large-scale project in the Dutch capital, which comprises a 110-metre high hotel tower with 579 rooms in the 4-star category and a 101-metre high residential tower with more than 250 flats, is currently considered one of the largest real estate projects in the Benelux region. The hotel will include a congress and conference centre with two ballrooms and a capacity of up to 4,000 people. It will be operated by the internationally renowned Maritim Hotel Company, which has over 50 years of experience in the congress business and is one of the largest European providers of meeting and event capacities. The lease agreement was concluded for a term of 50 years. Both towers will be among the tallest buildings in Amsterdam and offer an impressive view over the historic city, river and Amsterdam harbour.

The 101-metre high residential tower comprises more than 250 high-quality flats on a total of around 27,000 square metres of gross floor area. The residential tower is positioned in the top market segment and combines modern architecture with flexible floor plans in five different flat sizes, from penthouses to single flats. Each flat will also have a private loggia or balcony and direct access to the hotel’s spa and wellness facilities.
